2012 FLAT CITY CYCLING rider contract

In consideration of the benefits offered to members of the FCCC, I agree to:

1. Wear a helmet on all team rides.
2. Observe traffic laws and respect others that share the road.
3. Ride in a safe manner such that fellow riders and others on the road are duly forewarned of my actions.
4. Maintain current address and phone number with the FCCC board member responsible for membership.
5. Pay the annual dues of $30 for seniors and $10 for juniors in a timely manner.
6. Represent Sponsors and Team in a positive manner including message boards, rides, and races.
7. Volunteer to assist during at least one of the FCCC sponsored races.

Please plan on volunteering for the Hopkins Criterium the Sunday after the 4^th of July.

All FCCC members are required to volunteer for at least one FCCC event.
This will help us put on a professional race, which in turn gives our sponsors a better image. (note: If for any reason you cannot make the event in which you signed up for, contact the event director and e-mail the membership coordinator for alternative volunteer opportunities.

I understand that my membership in the FCCC may be terminated for failure to observe this agreement.
In the event that membership is terminated or member decides to depart from team, the member is responsible for reimbursing Team/Sponsors for discounts/race reimbursements received during a given race calendar year. Race results, race diaries, and pictures may still be used by FCCC.

I also understand that cycling is inherently dangerous and agree that I (including my heirs or successors of interest) will not hold FCCC, its board of directors, or sponsors liable for any injuries I may sustain or property damage I may incur during my participation.
